I am excited to join the Enka Middle School 8th grade Outer Banks team as the ELA teacher! 

• A native of Western North Carolina, I have been teaching since 2012. I began my teaching career as a high school English teacher before moving to middle grades where I spent many years as an 8th grade ELA teacher.  I have served as a technology coach for several Buncombe County high schools as well as a gifted specialist in recent years.
